By submitting information through our “Contact Us” page or otherwise interacting with our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

1. Data Collection Practices: How and What We Collect

We collect personal data directly through our “Contact Us” page and related communication channels, such as, emails or phone calls. We also collect data automatically when you browse our website through cookies and similar technologies. We may collect: :

• Content you provide: the message or inquiry you submit, and any information you choose to include in it; and

Under the legal bases set out in Article 7 of the LGPD, we process the personal data above for the following purposes: Responding to requests, inquiries, or comments made through the contact channels available on the site; Sending information about services, updates, news or insights, provided prior authorization has been given; Ensuring website security and preventing fraud or abuse; Improving the user experience on the site by analyzing browsing patterns (via cookies). Data collection will always be carried out based on express and specific consent, respecting the principles of necessity and transparency.

3. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. If you request deletion of your data, we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. In case where a legal obligation requires retention, such as the period required to comply with legal, tax, regulatory, or accounting obligations (typically up to 5 years under Brazilian civil and tax law, unless a different period applies) or the minimum 6-month retention of access logs required for internet application providers under Article 15 of the Marco Civil da Internet (Law No. 12,965/2014), we will fulfill the required legal term prior to deletion.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• • Service providers who support our operations (e.g., email, CRM, hosting, or analytics providers), acting as Operators under our instructions and this Policy;
  • Professional advisors (e.g., accountants, auditors, lawyers) when necessary for our legitimate business or legal defense;

• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or corporate restructuring involving COBO IP.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated as "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

8. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in particular Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD). Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
